Job Title: Administrative Assistant

About the Role
The Administrative Assistant supports the daily operations of the Resource Center by ensuring smooth coordination of events, meetings, outreach, and administrative tasks. This position also plays a key role in creating a welcoming environment by helping to maintain the cleanliness, organization, and overall atmosphere of the Resource Center.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative Support
Answer and direct phone calls, greet visitors, and respond to general inquiries.
Assist with scheduling, preparing agendas, and organizing program and staff meetings.
Maintain records, files, and resource center materials in an organized and accessible manner.
Support day-to-day operations to ensure the center runs efficiently.
Event & Program Coordination
Assist with planning, coordinating, and implementing events, celebrations, and community gatherings.
Help organize logistics for workshops, classes, and special activities.
Support outreach and promotion of events through flyers, calls, and other communication methods.
Resource Center Maintenance & Cleanliness
Ensure the Resource Center remains clean, orderly, and welcoming for participants, staff, and guests.
Assist with organizing supplies, materials, and shared spaces.
Report any facility or maintenance needs promptly to the supervisor.
Outreach & Communication
Assist with community outreach to promote programs, services, and events.
Draft and distribute basic communication materials (emails, announcements, flyers, etc.).
Serve as a point of contact for participants, staff, and community partners.
Other Duties
Collaborate with staff to ensure participant needs are met during center activities.
Perform other administrative or program support tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or administrative training preferred.
Previous experience in an administrative, clerical, or event coordination role preferred.
Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or similar programs.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to assist with occasional evening or weekend events if needed.
Work Schedule & Compensation
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 20 hours per week.
Compensation: $18 per hour.

Job Title: Resident Assistant
Supervisor: Program Coordinator
Solid Rock Youth Transitional Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Resident Assistant (RA) to live on-site and support young adults (ages 18–26) in our transitional living program. The RA is responsible for monitoring evening activity, fostering community, and creating a safe, supportive environment through mentorship and structured activities.
Responsibilities
Live on-site and serve as a consistent evening presence for residents.
Monitor and document evening activities, ensuring adherence to program guidelines.
Plan and facilitate engaging activities such as workshops, group discussions, and social events.
Provide mentorship and role modeling to residents transitioning to independent living.
De-escalate conflicts and maintain a safe, supportive environment.
Maintain program documentation and communicate effectively with staff.
Qualifications
Experience working with young adults, foster youth, or in a residential program preferred.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Ability to set healthy boundaries and model positive behavior.
Strong conflict resolution skills; trauma-informed care experience a plus.
Must be 21 or older; background check required.
Details
Part-time, evenings/weekends.
